"EMIL LAMPRECHT: Alright, now we're going to go over your first cigar box trick. I call it the three box lift and that's exactly what it is, is you're going to--basically, position yourself to throw or lift the cigar boxes evenly enough that you can let go of all three of them and then catch them again as they go down. Looks a little bit like this. Now, you want to try to get as even a lift as possible as you might have saw, my boxes skewed forward a little bit as I lift. What are you want to try to do is make sure your release is all in your body that the boxes stay very straight like that. Start small. It doesn't have to be big. You can literally just release the boxes for maybe half an inch at first and work your way up to doing bigger things. Now, the bigger you get, the harder it is to throw properly and the harder it is to recover. We'll see if I can get a bigger example for you. There we go, alright? That's the three box lift."
