"EMIL LAMPRECHT: The next trick I'm going to show you involves a lot of dynamics that we've covered in the past clips. Sync throws, straight throws or fours and the vamp and put it all together, and you have what's called the box. Not an easy trick. The best way to approach this trick is to get very good and very confident with 4-4-1 or straight-straight vamp. And then, to break the trick down, starting with two balls, you want to throw this ball straight up and at the same time vamp it back and forth. This is basically the trick. You need to be able to do it on both sides, and then alternate every time. If you can do that, approaching the actual trick from a cold start shouldn't be too difficult if you do it in short controlled bursts. Start just with two straight throws. One, two, stop. Reset. One, two, stop. Start on the other side. One, two, stop. One, two, stop. Now try to link a few more together, three then four, and then eventually to the point where you can do it confidently. Now I tend to throw the fours very low because I'm used to them. It may help, timing-wise, for you in dealing with the vamp, which is maybe a new throw to you, by throwing it very high. It's important to remember however, to keep them very controlled, and the height of your throw may determine how controlled you are. So high with control and low with speed are what you want to shoot for. Now, when approaching this trick out of a 3 cascade pattern, you want to do it from a pattern stall to get that synced effect. So practicing your 4-2-3 like such and getting that down is key to being able to enter the box. As you can see, I just went right from 4-2-3, or technically a 4-2, into the box. Now the siteswap for box is very complicated. It should be listed on the bottom of this screen. And if you want to look up it and other siteswaps, again go to sites like jugglingdb and they can be explained there."
