"EMIL LAMPRECHT: Now I'm going to move in to more columns variations. You've learned pattern stalls, you've learned 4440, you've also learned your basic columns. Let's start to vary it, okay? Now first, the center ball can go pretty much anywhere. As I taught you, you can switch hands which means if you wanted to, you could throw it across like that. Now, this is an outside throw which you learned in one of the first videos; it's essentially the same thing only wide enough to go over both balls instead of just one. Other tricks include "weaves" which is an outside throw towards the center instead of over the whole pattern; "reverse weaves" which is having a cascade-type throw in the middle of the pattern. You can also do circles which you may want to wait until I show you shower patterns. But if you're comfortable enough with vamping back and forth, which is this motion, you can add that trick in as well. Again, outside circles or outside throws, weaves, reverse weaves, and then you can also think about body throws but, as you can see, that's a little harder."
