"EMIL LAMPRECHT: In the previous clip you got a look at 741, which is a side swap trick that requires a transition entry from your base pattern. This trick is the same way. This is 714. Now, instead of one transition throughout, it requires two, in this case, two 5s. You can start the 5s on either side, it depends on where you're most comfortable, but you will then fall hopefully immediately into the pattern which is a 7, an immediate vamp which is the 1 and the 4. That's what the pattern looks like. Now, to get back into your basic fountain pattern, the transition is very similar; just the 5/5 will do. There may be a pause or a gap in timing, which will hopefully give you enough time to recover where you're at. For now, to learn the base pattern I suggest throwing the two 5 transition throws, just the 7, a 1 and a 4, and then catch clean. Just practice that, short controlled runs, to get an initial feel for the pattern and move on from there. Patterns like this are very hard to articulate, but hopefully by having seen it, you can slow down the video and learn from that."
