"EMIL LAMPRECHT: Now, I've given you a brief preview to a trick called "chops" when learning under-the-arm and side circles. The difference is that unlike constant under the arms, with chops you're actually taking a hand and chopping through a cascade pattern like so. Now, the throw that comes after it or before it rather, ends up kind of being an under-the-arm because of the way you place it. But you shouldn't think of it that way. You want to think about taking your hand and literally swiping it through the center of your pattern like that and then releasing the ball normally. Practice it on one side and the other. Now, it feels very rushed and it always will. Chops is meant to be a fast and furious-looking trick. So, you're going to end up doing a couple of things; throwing too low is one of them. Try to maintain a big, lofty pattern. If you have to, do it this big but once you get the trick down, you can get it pretty tight."
