"EMIL LAMPRECHT: Now, I've taught you Under the Leg in the past series but I'm going to go over it again, discussing more the structure of learning Body Throws in preparation for learning things like Backcrosses, Over the Shoulders, and Penguin Catches. Now, as I talked about in the last clip, you need to practice getting the trick down one at a time, and it's very important to keep good posture, good head position, and not be scrambling all over the place to make your catch. Now, always start with one object and, for Under the Leg, always remember to bring your leg up to you. If you start to lean towards your leg, your tendency will be to either to throw out or you won't be able to see what's coming down so you can catch it. If you bring your leg up to you, it takes more energy from the waist down, but you can work your agility and then it will also make it, the throw and the catch, much easier. When learning to put 'em all together with any Body Throw, you want to have a structured practice. Short controlled runs, as I've mentioned before, are very important, but also the pattern in which you throw them...every third throw, Juggler's Tennis, maybe every third throw alternating. You can mix up the pattern but it's important to get it down. You may also want to practice your balance with Under the Leg by just doing it constantly on one side. This is a whole different trick but it may help with some things."
