"This clip is intended to troubleshoot common problems with three ring juggling. Now because you're holding something at no particular point, as oppose to a ball which fits entirely in your hand and a club which has a distinct handle, people tend to get a little confused as to how to throw it. Ring juggling is mostly use of your arm, not a lot of wrist. The reason being is that if you try to use your wrist to throw it, you'll tend to tweak it due to its shape back towards you and throw at yourself. You don't want to do that obviously. If you find yourself throwing at yourself try just not using your wrist as much and rely souly on the strength of your arm and movement of your arm. If you're leading you may be doing the opposite. Either rushing or not using enough arm to really bring the ring upward in strength. The thing I would focus most on is being able to get the ring to travel up and down without going backward and forward. Because of the thin nature of rings, you can sometimes cheat a little bit on the width of the pattern. So when learning your first three rings and three ring tricks you really want to make sure that no matter what height, it's really just straight up and back down as oppose to the forward or behind you. Other things you may see is a lot of wobbling in the ring. Just practice a nice even smooth release. These are really simple props to throw and catch, they're just harder than others because they're light and their form prevents them from being as aerodynamic if thrown in a bad angle. Good Luck."
