"So a couple of easy and affordable ways you can get great reflective light are using what I call a "v", a "v-stand", I am not sure if that is exactly the right terminology for it, but I bought these two, four feet by eight feet pieces of foam core, they were about sixteen dollars apiece, just at my local art store and I have joined the two of them at the back. Now I have a "v" that the light from the strobe can reflect into, so I will give you a little example, it's great because the way it reflects can actually give enough light for a whole body as opposed to something more directional just on someone's face, so here you go. That is pretty neat huh, and it was really affordable and another way that you can use the light from the strobe is you can actually add another light on this side so that when you are bouncing in your strobe from this side you can get some reflected light back on your face and then there is also the uplight, now you can uplight two different ways, you can actually put the light low in front of you, you can get some great uplight, but the other way that you can do it is when you have your light reflecting, you can have the model hold the reflector underneath here and that just again helps fill in the extra shadows and you don't need another light to do it. Now those will show up a lot better in still examples but it is just one way to get a great shot in an affordable way especially if you are shooting a large group, something like this can really help you get some more coverage."
