"Every scope manufacturer also manufactures an adapter device, which will hold most any point-and-shoot digital camera. When you consider a rig for Digiscoping, you do not want to get anything with a higher zoom, then about five optical. The engineering of the point-and-shoot camera and the eyepiece are not compatible above about five power. As you can see, when I first attach the point-and-shoot camera to the scope, it's a round image with dark corners. That's called benyetti. You eliminate that with the zoom on the camera. And the bird comes into the frame. The focusing has to be done with the scope. Then, I personally prefer to use a cable release, because I don't want to shake the camera when I take the image."
