"CHRISTINA HAGGERTY: So here's our next basic step we're going to show you in our Cha-cha-cha, LA style on two. We're just going to do, from open position, a basic right turn. Now, the foot work for this turn is going to be just the same as described in clip number three for the Cha-cha-cha. Here's what it looks like one, two, three, four, and five. Here's our basic, eight and one, two, three, four, and five, six, seven, eight, and, one, two, three, four, and five, six, seven, eight. That's the basic turn. Notice, the only thing that is different is for the female, you're just reversing the steps; you're stepping back now, Cha-cha-cha, and then, you're taking your forward turn. But the pivot step is the same as taught as before. Okay so, again, watch. We're going one, breaking two, three, four, and five, six, seven, eight, and one, two, three, four, and five. Here's the lead. The first thing you want to do is you're going to raise up the left hand, and I'm going to flip my hand over so that we're palm to palm. This signals the turn. And I actually have my fingers pointed in the direction of the turn so she knows exactly where to turn. I can choose to either lead her into the turn with this hand, or if I want I could just let go of that hand and let her take the turn on her own and do styles--some styling options with that arm. Okay so, again, just the turn, two, three, four, and five, has to get here by five. She takes her turn six, seven, eight, and one. We can reconnect either closed position or open position."
