How to Tie Knots for a Single Line Kite

"Howdy this is Corey Jensen with Wind Power Sports in Las Vegas, Nevada. Do a little single line flying while we got a bit of a breeze. There are a lot of different shapes out there most of you have seen there. One thing they all have in common out here at the tip of the bridle is this little loop and as you can see, some folks just can’t help but tie the string into that loop. At the end of the day however, who is going to untie that thing and that is the problem. So, the solution is very simple. At the end of your flying we tie a little loop. Put your thumb and forefinger through the loop and fold it back making what’s called a larks head knot. Now, understanding that the tip of the loop on the bridle and the knot that forms the loop are exactly the same place you put the loop through the larks head, pull the larks head tight and slip it up to the back right behind the loop. At the end of the day this is going to be a lot simpler to disassemble than having to untie a knot. This is very a typical. Normally when I start talking there is a breeze and this time it did not work. I started talking the wind goes away."
