"CRAIG BROWDER: Okay. So, basically he's pretty much done. So all we got to do now is just come in and finish it up like we would, like I did the pants and the hands. So, just go ahead and just like all the other drawings I showed you how. You kinda execute, make the lines heavier, make them look more solid. If you did a lot of sketching, you could do an overlay. You also gotta be careful with when you're spinning; you're putting your hand on the paper. You got to be careful with this part, if the ink is so fresh or whatever, you're going to get a mark here and you're going to start putting some smudges on your paper, so be conscious of that too when you're spinning your paper. All right, let's fill in his eyes, one, two. Okay. And he's just about done. Well, I forget this guy down here, a little highlight. And you're pretty much, I mean, if you want to go in and come get all these guys--so I will darken these guys up here. His teeth. Almost didn't do his teeth. Yeah. There's your basic how to draw a character or something like SpongeBob. Some people think that drawing in perspective or whatever, it's only for like technical drawings or something like that and really pretty much even people who draw cartoon characters understand the concept of perspective and how boxes work. And after they understand how it works, they can start to distort them and bend them and think of SpongeBob is a sponge, so he bends here but his pants are hard, so they always stay straight like a regular box, so. Yeah, I mean, once you understand the basics, you can pretty much do anything you want. So, and people will be impressed when you can draw something that's very cartoony but at the same time looks good because it still holds to the standards of perspective. All right, that's pretty much it. That's the how to draw SpongeBob by using the techniques that I've already taught you. So, all right, that's it."
