"Hi. My name is Dan McLellan and I'm with Expert Village. Now, we're going to talk about how to make a two sixty balloon hat. Hats are a lot of fun. And, as you learn to make balloons you'll find that you have a lot of requests for hats. So, I'm going to walk you through the steps on how to make a basic hat. First, we're going to take a balloon and I'm going to give the appearance that it's fully inflated. But, once again it won't really be fully inflated. I'm going to leave a little bit of air off of here, so I can work by making some ties here. And, let some air out here before I tie it off. And, this will give me some room to work with. The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to imagine that this is your face in your living room as you're watching me at home on your computer. By holding this up to your face, I've got an idea of how much space I want for your head. It just so happens or at least it's good enough for balloons that the circumference of your face is the same as your head. So, if I hold this up to your face here all I do is I take the balloon and I pinch it together. And, the result is going to be a half inch bubble here. I can then twist off a half inch bubble at the top. Fold that together. And, twist it into the other side. The result is, I've got a one balloon hat. Well, so far we've learned some basic moves. How to make some basic bubbles. Make a bear. Make a heart. Make a curly-q. A basic hat and a small flower. Now, the neat thing about balloons is you can take these basic stuff and combine them to make them look really really cool. Very complex. But, we'll talk about that in our next segment."
