" Hi! This is Daniel on behalf of Expert Village in this clip we’re going to be talking about the cards that are used in 21 or again more commonly known as blackjack in North America. Each game uses a standard deck 52 standard cards, now you’ll find some casino’s that are going to use 4 to 6 decks and that’s pretty common in North America. A single deck is usually not used and if it is the odds are usually different because it’s easier for a player to what they call count cards which is simply pay attention to the cards that have been played and pay attention to those odds so that they can either raise their bets or lower them in there advantage. Now each deck obviously consist of your standard face cards which are your Jack, King and Queen, your Ace and then your numeric cards 2 through 10, now the 2 through 10 are simply worth their face value which is very simple, your face cards your Jack, your King and Queen are all worth 10 as well and then you have your Ace now the Ace is going to be worth either 1 or 11 depending upon your hand."
