" Hi! My name is Dan, and I am here with Expert Village today to show you how to tie a Spanish bowline. It is an excellent knot if you need two variable size loops in the end of the line. You actually don’t need to tie it at the end of the line either. So start with a piece of rope, make a loop or a little bend in it, twist towards yourself and then twist towards yourself one more time. Now feed one loop through the other loop. I find that it is helpful to lay it down. Now I have two loops in my line, and they are adjustable. I can tie it for you one more time. Take my loop, make two smaller loops twist them in, cross them, fold the loop in the back up and behind them and simply pull that loop through. So now I have a knot with two adjustable loops… and that is the Spanish bowline. "
