" Hi! My name is Dan, and I am here with Expert Village today to show you a variation on the icicle hitch that I tied in the previous camping knot segment. It is very similar, but yet slightly different. So take your line and wrap it around your tapered object, wrapping upwards. Do this three times. On your third turn, simply take a turn in your line, wrap it over the end and in this case, your broom handle. You can do it on an icicle or a tapered piece of metal. Now you have a line that seems to defy physics, that won’t slide up a tapered object. I can tie it for you one more time. So three turns and take a twist, feed it through and pull tight. It should be noted that this knot only works in a straight line. If you pull off to one side it can come untied. So that is a slight variation on the icicle hitch."
