"I'm going to show you guys how to do the Melbourne Shuffle. Alright shuffle this is what I am going to show you in this clip. Alright the basics of doing the shuffle is pretty simple. What I want you to do is watch the full segment and practice when you are doing it without the video. Take it counter time, don't try to rush in and do all these steps that at 140, 150 RPMs. Just practice the steps really slow then progress the speed. So the shuffle comes in shuffling your feet. What we do is put are feet in a T position. Front foot is like pointing outward and the left foot is kind of like this. What we are doing is we are shuffling our feet. We pick up our left foot with the left foot and press up we shift your right foot into the same direction. When your left foot starts to come down the right shifts back into the T position. Like that it's just basic 2 steps in doing the shuffle. So practice that, this is what it looks like in this clip right here. It's just basic 2 step. So it's up down, up down, slide, slide, slide, slide. When you're doing it to the beat, kind of like a 1/8th type step so it's do, do, do, do but it's really going do,shh do,shh do,shh do. OK so this is what it's looks like take it slow. What you can do you can start off either left or right foot but alternating it is fun as well. Once you step up your foot slides over and it slides back, it's step up, slide over, slide back and you are doing it like a 2 step. The last time try putting your front foot, your left foot in this case when you begin to put it down, put it in the back of your foot. Once it?s in the back of the right foot it's in the T position to go the opposite way. With that your left foot is shuffling and right foot is picking up back and pushing there. Also with the shuffle you can try stepping forward, stepping back, combination both forward and back, side switch it, go to the other side you get a couple clips on how they connect and it's all free form so just keep it original, keep it new. So keep practicing it and next we are going to talk about how to do the Rainman."
