"So after you have your negatives cut and sleeved, organized, ready to go your next step is going to be getting your materials ready to go and print and the first most important material you're going to need is your photographic paper. This is Ilford multi grade RC deluxe paper. Right here you can look down here and it says a number of things. Number one is it says pearl. That means that it's a mixture of surfaces. It's not very glossy and it's not very matte finish. I like using this type of paper for contact sheets the most. It really just seems to work well and it actually looks great. One thing in preparation that you're going to have for getting your contact sheet together is that you're going to want to open up your paper in the darkroom. I've already opened up this paper earlier today. You never want to open up paper in light that I'm in right now. You'll absolutely burn all your paper. So one thing I like to get is everything I'm going to need to go in there to make my contact sheet."
