How to Set Up Kingdoms in Amtgard RPG

" Hi, my name is Austin Harmon but out here I am known as Forrest Evergreen and I am here on ExpertVillage.com to teach you about the game of Amtgard. Our normal event will range anywhere from one hundred and twenty to two hundred people. A large, what we call and Inter-Kingdom event, because every individual group is a kingdom, will have anywhere from two hundred and fifty to five hundred at it for the week. They are hosted all over the place. We have large events hosted in Dallas, in Ruidoso, New Mexico, up in the Pacific Northwest, in Denver through out the year. So it is a lot of fun, it is a lot of intense work for the people that put it on and it is a lot of fun. A lot of people last year were involved with the Renaissance Festivals and the Scarborough Fair. And we are really not affiliated with any of those although it is the same thematic thing. I mean, it is the medieval period idea that we do like to do and a lot of us do go out to things like that because we enjoy them. But we are not really affiliated with any other group. There are lots of other groups like us out there. There is the High Fantasy Society known as HFS, NERO the New England Roll Playing Organization and lots of other groups. Some of them are pay to play, some of them are not they are like us. Everything is different, there is kind of a flavor to each game depending on what people want to play. Amtgard is one of the oldest; it is one of the largest."
