"Hi my names Austin Harmon but out here I'm known as Forest Evergreen. And I'm here on ExpertVillage.com to teach you about the game of Amtgard. This is a tabard or tunic and this one was made by a friend of mine about ten years ago, it's held up pretty well. And it's just a basic, what we call a sort of a T pattern or flowing tunic. You can see it kind of flares out at the bottom. It covers down so it kind of gives that period look. The belts that I'm wearing, belt favors the tabard, everything except accept for the fact that I bought these sweat pants. Everything else was made by somebody in the group, we have people who make armor, who make all of our weapons and, everybody makes their own weapons and shields. We have not only fighting aspects we have cultural competitions were we compete in singing and storytelling and cooking and guard making, you know, pretty much anything that we crafted, jewel, to jewelry making, chain mail, plate mail, whatever type of armor you want to make. It's an entirely comprehensive game where you can learn a whole bunch of different things aside from just the fighting element."
