"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Bob Lanning and I’m here to tell you about how we’re making model villages. In Cottonwood here, you can see we’re about half done. We have one side of the street and we’re just going to represent about two blocks of the Main Street. There’s actually about three blocks long and when we get the other side started we’ll be doing the same way. We’ll be taking photos of the actual buildings, using the Adobe Photoshop to get the actual textures. We actually, as you can see on the jail, we have pictures of the actual stone work that’s been pasted right onto the cardboard and also the working materials. This here is the old Civic Center made of river rock and that’s actual photos of the building, so that’s how the rest of this will be finished off, just to represent the other side of the street. We also even do the back of the buildings so you can even, they’ll all be finished off on both sides of the street. So you can see the alley and what’s in the back of the stores and then of course, all the vehicles are from the 50’s and they all represent the way it looked back then, even including the people sitting on the hood of their cars, and the people in their convertibles. This side of the street, that’s not completed yet, will be representing where the City Hall is and all the various industries and businesses along the rest of the block. We already have the old Cottonwood jail that’s been there for years and it’ll just look like it was, the other side of the street and it’ll be finished off fairly accurately. "
