"What we'll do now, is I will finish putting the screws back in this. We will drill a hole for to hang it with. People like to paint these. I generally don't paint my old wood stuff, but something like this, if you want to leave it clean, you could put some clear lacquer on it or something like that so it will with stand the weather a lot better or just paint it, paint a design on it or whatever you want to do. I've seen people paint flowers on these and everything else and it makes it look kind of nice, but like I say if you put some clear lacquer on it, it will with stand the elements a lot. See that hinge is all the way on. It will protect the feed inside and also protect some of the feed out here that comes rolling out here. So what we'll want to do, is up here at the top, where we want to hang it on the tree or wherever we're going to hang it, we want to put a hole in it. What we are going to do is measure this across here which is approximately five inches. We will go two and a half inches here and we will put a hole there and we will use this same thing. These are awful handy to use. You don't have to hook them up to power or anything else, they have their own power. So what we'll do is line this up, drill an hole through it. Now you have a place to hang it. If you have a nail or something like that. Hangs right on the tree. Rest on the back. That is pretty much a bird house. You can round this off if you want. I kind of like to round off the edges sometimes. You got the bird feeder. Put the bird feed in there. I have some bird seed but I have to go get it. What will happen when you put the bird seed in there it will hold approximately a pound or so. It will drop down in here and it will automatically feed out as the birds eat it, here, it will automatically feed out. Maybe once or twice a week you look in here and see how low it is and just pour a little bird seed in there and you've got yourself a bird feeder."
