"In this clip, we are going to be talking about equipment. Of course, the two very basic things are your stake which is at a prescribed height from your national levels, also at a prescribed angle and your shoe and the shoes are all standard. You want find any of them fitting on a horse but many sporting good stores will sell what are the authorized proper weight shoes. So we have the shoes, we have another item which we have here because we have sand of course. We also have older gentlemen with bad backs so we have to have something here basically here just basically a back saver to help pick them up rather than having to bend over and get our hands dirty. We get our hands dirty anyway from the sand but that is pretty much a back saver. We have that and because the nature of our pits are sand and shell, we have brushes which we clean up each time after someone has pitched. It gets all uneven and we try to make it as even, nice and neat as we possibly can. "
