"In this clip, we are going to be talking about the various techniques and how you hold the horseshoe. Now everybody has perhaps a little bit different way. Some people like myself, I hold it with this burr up and I hold it in the center and hope to pitch a shoe that will turn slowly and if I am on the ball, it will land directly in front of the pen and in this type of a pit, it will slide and slide on. Many people will hold it from the side and throw what amounts to a hook type thing and as it is rotating like this as it gets close, hits the pen and hangs on and hooks and that is a different method. The other thing that I concentrate on when I am looking at the pen, my target, I am looking at the bottom area of the pen. That is where I want to look at. I study that and I come back and try to keep the release point at about the same place. Hopefully if I am really doing it right, I am going to get a consistent turn. I am going to have all of those things happen in the same manner each time. As I say many other people were extremely successful will pitch and will turn and go with the turn. So each of us decides what works best for us and that is what we use. "
