"Hi this Cable on behalf of Expert Village. In this setup we have a mini DV cam running a live video feed into a laptop computer via firewire cable. Now, the application that we're using to capture the signal sent by the camera is called Framethief. So when we look at the screen for Framethief, we can see that whatever the camera's pointing at show's up in the frame of the application. So, basically whenever we want to capture frame, we can just use the computer as the camera to record the image. So, at any point press the spacebar or another key and then you can set up in Framethief. And by default Framethief makes a little sound when a picture is taken and it takes one frame. You use the spacebar to take one frame. Number two, you take two frames. Number three will take three frames. Continue this process until you've captured all your frames."
