"When photographing your animated art work with a digital still camera it's a good idea to disable the flash it eats up to much battery and it can be inconsistent. So, make sure you have a good consistent light source either a work light or a strong light will do. Also, what you want to be mindful of is shake, when you take a picture it moves the camera a little bit and this will be shaky on your final movie. What you want to do is use a remote to press the shutter of the picture or use the timer feature of the camera this way you can press the shutter with your hand and give it few seconds for the camera to stop shaking. You would do this for each still frame. Some cameras have a variety delays two seconds, five seconds and ten seconds. Change out your art work and take another picture. Reset the timer. Familiarity with your digital still camera would sure help. There are so many out there on the market it really takes some time to go through the manual to find out what settings work best for you. So, continue this process to all your frames are captured."
