" Hi! I’m Carlos Ramos Jr. on behalf of Expert Village. Today we’re talking about the game of solitaire. Now, the next step in this game is the deal. You went ahead and verified that all you cards were there. You got your table surface going, you got some illumination, you shuffled the cards, you made sure everything was shuffled really good. Now, it’s time to deal. What you want to do is you want to deal 7 cards horizontally with the first card on the left face up, the rest faced down. Now, you want to continue to do this sequence all the way to the end. For example, you’ve got the first card face up and the other 6 face down. You want to skip the first one, start here, face up, down all the way to the end. Skip these 2, up down, down, down Skip it, up, down, down. What’s going to happen is you’re going to end up with 28 cards once you get to the end here. You want to end with that last one face up. This is what’s called your playing board. Once you’ve got you’re playing board done, take the remainder of cards, and stack them there. That’s called your stock pile. Now, you’re ready to get into the object of the game. Once you’ve got all that set up, you’re ready to go. "
