What is Solitaire?

In the family of card games, solitaire is a part of the set that can be played alone. As the name indicates, solitaire or patience involves the player dealing cards from a shuffled deck into a prescribed arrangement on a tabletop, from which the player attempts to reorder the deck by suit and rank through a series of moves transferring cards from one place to another under prescribed restrictions. Though the foundation of the game's rules are constant, there are many different types of game variations, such as Klondike. Most of these games and variations are available on your home computer as well, as America's busy workforce has integrated the game's varying levels of skill requirements and attention span exercises into their daily lives. Solitaire requires patience and skill and might also refer to games like peg solitaire and Shanghai solitaire.

Now, there comes a time in everyone’s life where they’re bored, lonely, or just need something to pass the time. That’s where the game of solitaire comes into place. The word solitaire is a French origin, and it mean patience. That’s exactly what you’ve got to have when playing solitaire. You need patience, skill, and sometimes a little bit of luck. We’re going to go over the traditional ways of playing solitaire with a deck of cards, and then we’re going to jump on the computer and I’m going to show you how to get on electronically and play the game of solitaire right on your computer. A lot of people know about this, but surprisingly a lot of people don’t. So, stay tuned for that, and also at the end of this I’m going to show you some cool tip and some tricks that you can do on the computer while playing the game of solitaire.
