"Hi! My name is Carlos Ramos Jr. coming to you on behalf Expert Village and today we're talking about the game of Chinese checkers. Now we just went over the board, how the board should look like, now let's talk about the players. Chinese checkers could be played by 2, 3, 4, or, 6 players, now obviously for the 6 player game all the triangles are going to be used up but if there's 4 players, the play usually starts in pairs of opposing triangles. So if you have 4 players you're going to set up, each player has to setup opposite of each other. You can't play here and here and here, it has to be opposite, your opposing person has to be opposite of where you are which gets into how we're going to setup the board up a little bit later. But in the 2 player game, it starts in 2 pairs of opposite sides just like the 4 player game you have to be opposite of each other, each player chooses a color and then 10 pegs of that color are placed in the appropriate triangle which we'll go over next. Just know that when you're picking your players if you're playing a 2 player game, make sure that you are facing each other and with the 4 player game each other obviously with the 6 player game you're all setup here. You can't play 1 and the 2 players here and another person here, it has to be opposite of each other. "
