"ABE TOKE: Hi. Welcome to Expert Village, my name is Abe Toke. I'm going to take you through step by step to shape yourself a complete surfboard. Next step, cut her up. Cut off the little extra of the nose and tail first. Usually, when cutting, I'd stay about an eighth out the line over, keep the line. Another tool, grab yourself a weight. It helps keep stabilized. And as straight up and down as possible, you can use anything square to get you started, a lot of times something like this works. Lot of different shapers use jigsaws, handsaws. I prefer the handsaw, whatever works for you. If you cut it out and you're going, "Oh, man, it doesn't look quite like it's there." Don't worry about it. We're going to clean that up."
