"ABE TOKE: Hi. Welcome to Expert Village, my name is Abe Toke. I'm going to take you through step by step to shape yourself a complete surfboard. And what you're going to do next is get your width dimensions. We're going to be doing about 18-1/4 inch board. So what I'll do is I'll mark it to about 18-1/2, give myself a little bit of play. Both sides is where that square comes in handy. Nice even marks. Tail dimensions, generally between 13 to 15 inches depending on what type of board. I think we're going to go about 14-1/4, so I'll mark about 14-1/2. Some guys do crow's eyes; some guys do a little dot. It's up to you. Nose, same as the tail, same as the width, somewhere around 11-1/2, generally."
