"ABE TOKE: Hi. Welcome to Expert Village, my name is Abe Toke. I'm going to take you through step by step to shape yourself a complete surfboard. Basically, the first step is to get your length. So today, we're going to be shaping a grommet board. It is going to be about 5' 9". So let's get that measurement, 5 foot, 9 inches. You want to measure a foot off from the tail. Mark a foot on the board. Go up to your 5' 9" mark or whatever it may be. And then a foot off of the nose back as well into the board, mark that, and the center as well. Five foot, it's two and a half, and half of that is right there."
