"Welcome to Starting a Poster Collection. Today we're going to talk about what to do once you've found that item. Once you've gotten to the point where you're starting to buy your collectibles, you need to decide how much you're willing to pay for it. Any time you see an item, the price is negotiable to a certain degree. When you're going out to eBay, you may see something that's for sale for two hundred dollars, and you're like I'm willing to spend fifty on it, and then you contact the seller. So basically once you've found your item, then you need to decide what you're going to pay for it. And then you have to figure out how you can acquire your item at that price. So if you're specifically using eBay, or using Amazon, and some dealer is selling it for two hundred dollars, and you're willing to pay fifty, what you can do is you can contact the seller and say look, I'm willing to give you fifty, and the worst answer that you're going to get is no. If you decide that you see an item and it's for sale on eBay, or you decide to go to Christie's and you're going to go to the auction, or Sotheby's and you're going to go to the auction, and you see an item that interests you, and you think that, okay look I'm willing to spend $150.00, you can't get caught up in the heat of the moment, or the heat of the battle at that moment. You have to decide what is your price, my price is $150.00, once it gets passed that price, it's gone. You have to let it go. Nine times out of ten you're going to see it again. There is always the story of the item that you saw that you will never see again. My story specifically. Is a Led Zeppelin tour book, 1969, great photos, great image, absolutely fabulous. Stunning item. It was twenty five dollars. I was too cheap to buy it at the time, and I've regretted it every sense. But once you get to the point of where you've reached your point of the maximum dollar amount that you're willing to spend, you have to decide either A, I'm going to go beyond that, or B, I'm just going to let it go. I'm going to play my cards, and hope that I'm going to see it again."
