"Welcome to starting a poster collection. Today we're going to talk about good posters that are kind of good and good posters that are on the borderline of great. The first example that we have of a good poster is this 311 poster. And it's a good poster in the fact that it's collectible. It's signed by its artist. It has a, it's signed and numbered as well. Over time you're going to eventually look at it and go, I can do better. I can stick something else better on my wall. Next you move to something which I consider to be basically a middle of the road poster. It's good quality. The image is interesting but yet at the same time it's something, it's not signed and it's not numbered. It's something which is mass produced and the art isn't that great and isn't that wonderful. There's no name of artist. It's not a bad poster but it's not a great poster. It doesn't speak to you in the way that it should. If you were going to buy this poster you wouldn't spend more than $15 to $20 on this poster. We're going to look at what I think is a good poster. It has good art on it. It has good band names for 311 and Korn and Monster Magnet. It's numbered and it's signed. And it's signed by a well known artist Frank Kozac. At the same time it's not a great poster in the respect of this is the second edition of 300, not the first edition of 300. So that there was at least 600 copies of this out there. And the art on this is good but it's not great. It's a little bit too busy in my mind. There's eyes. There's the lunar landing. There's the space whatever you want to call it. There's hands. There's angry people at the bottom. There's just too much going on. So it's not something where you're going to look at this and go, you're going to pay $100 for this. You'll pay probably anywhere between $20 to $50 bucks for it. It's a good poster. It's going to sell over time. It's always going to have collectors and it's a good poster but it's just not a great poster."
