"What I'm holding in my hand is a reel that you're going to roll film onto, in the dark, to start your film developing process. And there's a couple of different types of these reels out there that you can use. This kind has two metal posts that you actually latch the film onto to use. This kind has an almost like a plastic locking system that you would use. Two very different types of film-reels, but very good. Then there is a third kind that has a little tiny lock in there that you press down. Again, a great type of reel, and each person sort of has their favorites. And after a while, you'll probably get to learn how to use all of them. There's also a different gouge of steel in these reels that you want to use. Some are heavier than others. I like to use the heavy gouged ones. They're a little more expensive, but they're not going to be damaged if you drop them. And, believe me, you're going to drop a reel when you first start to learn how to do this in the dark. So, you want to get the heavy ones. Go for the nice, heavy steel ones."
