"What we are looking at right here is some of the basic supplies you need to begin to develop black and white film. Your first supply that you are going to need is black and white film developer. This is Kodak, D-76, one of the most popular black and white film developers out there. Very easy to use, very easy to make. Ilford Fix, liquid fix, again very easy to use, it's not very messy, excellent. These are your reels that you are going to thread the film on, these are very important, these tend to be a little more expensive, maybe twenty dollars apiece but they again can be found for a little cheaper on Craig's List, eBay, something like that. You're going to need some of these containers, very important, don't use milk containers or old bottles, use one of these, they tend to keep the light out and light can affect your chemistry. You want to keep your chemistry in a nice, cool, dry place."
