How to Choose an Eyeliner Applicator

" Hi! I am Yvette Parrish. Thanks for joining me at Expert Village. Today I am going to show you how to apply the eyeliner, the different styles of eyeliner and how to get that pretty smoky look. So it really depends what is easier for you. If you like a pencil, if you like to apply it with a brush, if you like a liquid…but know that the liquid is the most drama of all types of eyeliner. Pencil is the most common. If you have a nice and soft pencil, you can take your brush, and you can grab the color on the brush and apply it that way. I really recommend brushes, because you have a lot of control when you are applying make-up when you have a brush; and when you have a pencil you notice you do not have that much control. The pencil is kind of fat, you kind of make a mess, and you can be all over the place; and you are not going to get a really, really pretty sharp line with the pencil, no mater how you sharpen it. So you can always take your brush, grab the color this way, and you are going to apply the pencil like that. So if you get in the habit of using brushes, it will be very beneficial, and it will be a very good experience for you model. It will be a beautiful professional look. "
