" Hi I'm Yvette Parish thanks for joining me at Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to apply the foundation, the different textures and the styles to do so. So I choose a liquid foundation in a yellow base and you could see how wonderful it matches her skin. Most people have a yellow base to there skin. If you are not sure what your under coloring is of your skin I recommend maybe going to a department store and having one of the makeup artist maybe have a look at you and that way you could kind of tell. Some people can't tell I'm I yellow base, I'm I orange base. Most people are yellow base typically about 70% of people. Even if you have some red in your skin or some pink if you wear a yellow base foundation it kind of knocks it out and it looks really pretty. I'm applying the liquid with my finger. Anytime you apply makeup with your finger it is more coverage. When you use a sponge I'm going to show you right here if you use a sponge the sponge absorbs a lot of the makeup. So in turn when I grab it a apply it, it is much more sheer. If you want a little bit more coverage. Open your eyes and look up. I like I want a little bit under here eyes and I'm using my finger. Try to always use your middle or ring finger to apply makeup not your index finger. This is the strongest finger you have on your hand and you could damage hurt somebody accidentally. So always use your ring finger to apply makeup. Cause I want to give her a little coverage I'm using my fingers. You could do either one you could see in the sponge how much makeup it absorbs and it also waste makeup as well. So I like to use my fingers. I'm going to go to the other side and do her other side. You could always use the sponge to help blend it out but, it would remove some makeup at the same time. "
