"Hi! I’m Yvette Parrish, thanks for joining me at expertvillage. Eyes are so much fun, and there are really not a lot of rules. I’m going to give you some tips to some basic outlines. The smaller the brush, the smaller the area you’re working on. For example, if you want to fill in the eyebrow, right here, then use a tiny brush, because I want to fill in a tiny area. You don’t to use a big brush…boom!..Groucho Marx eyebrows.. you know. You don’t want to do that. The smaller the area, the smaller size brush. If I’m going to apply eyeliner, then I want a skinny brush. If I’m dusting the whole eye, then I can take a large brush. So kind of think about the area that you are working on. If you only want to fill in a little part of the brow, then just get a tiny little brush and fill that in. You can get brushes from art stores; you can get them from department stores. A lot of these brushes are actually paint brushes…as long as they are sable, squirrel hair, camel hair. If they are real hair, they’ll last for years. Just take care of them and wash them and they will just last years. I think I have had some of these 7 or 8 years."
