" Hi! I’m Yvette Parrish. Thanks for joining me at Expert Village. Today, I’m going to show you how to apply makeup properly, professionally, and the use of brushes. What we are going to do is do some eyelashes; talking about some eyelashes and about different mascaras. If you can see—good and close your eyes. Her eyelashes are very curly and very pretty, and what you can do with your eyelash curler, you can warm it up a little bit with a hairdryer, but do not do it too long, because this will actually heat up and you can burn yourself or hurt yourself. So really take a hairdryer, may be 5 seconds, 10 seconds, that’s it, quick. Don’t go crazy with it because this will actually burn you. I know it from experience, it hurts. Don’t do it. So just warm it up just for a little while, and then when you apply, when you squeeze it will curl your eyelashes and it will give you a pretty, curly look like that. So I do recommend warming it up, just be careful how long you warm it up. You go as close as you can physically bring it to you—preferably as close to your eyelash where the eyeliner is as possible. If you only put your eyelash curler on the very tip, you are only going to curl the tips. So we want the whole eyelash. "
