Filling Eyebrows & Applying Makeup

" Hi! I’m Yvette Parrish. Thanks for joining me at Expert Village. Today, I’m going to show you how to apply makeup properly, professionally, and the use of brushes. So what we are going to do would be, before we start with the makeover, if you remember I arched her eyebrows. Her eyebrows are shaped beautiful, but what I want to do is strengthen them a little bit and fill them in with a little bit of color. So I am going to take a small brush because I want to work in a small area, so I’m going to take an eyebrow color, which is brown, and then try to match the hair color as close as possible. So I am going to take like a brown color and I am going to apply it where I think she needs a little strength, and then you can see the difference between the two brows. You know I don’t do a lot, but this really helps the eye look just beautiful, the finished product. It is like having a beautiful painting without a frame, and what I am doing is making the frame of her eye just beautiful, so that way my painting will look even more beautiful. I am just filling it in, and you can see the difference in the strength between this eyebrow and this eyebrow. So I am going to do the other side, and right here I am going to fill it in because this is where it is a little bit weak right there, and everyone has a different weak spot. It could be right here by the eye, it could be at the ends, usually it is at the ends because this is where we go crazy tweezing. When we first start tweezing, that is the first thing we tweeze and we are always afraid to tweeze this part. I am just going to kind of fill them in a little bit, and now we have a beautiful frame for her eyes. "
