"I am here at Cynergy Dance Studio in San Antonio, Texas with my beautiful model Kerry. We’re going to be talking about moisturizers for different skin types, doing a beautiful makeover on her, discussing eyelashes, the different eyelash curlers, and proper eyebrow placement in the makeup. She’s an all over oily combination skin, maybe some dry patches here and there, right. In the winter, get a little bit dry. But typically, you’re oily. So, I’m choosing an oil free moisturizer for Kerry. I’m just going to apply a little at a time. Apply it where you need it. Remember, the oil free moisturizer is going to give you moisture, but it’s not going to give you oil. We don’t want that; we don’t want to put any oil on a face that already produces plenty of oil. In 3 hours, Ms. Kerry will not be happy with her makeup or anything. She’ll feel like she’s sliding around and we don’t want that. I want Kerry to feel beautiful. I want her to have the correct moisturizer that’s good for her skin, and that way it’s healthy. If you have oily skin, you don’t need that much moisturizer, because you’re producing enough oil. If you have dry skin, then that’s a different story. Make sure oily skin, oil free. If you’re a dry skin, you need a moisturizing replenishing type moisturizer. Look for the word nourishing, replenishing. Those are the kind of moisturizers a dry skin needs; an oily skin, you don’t need to replenish, you don’t need to nourish. You have plenty nourishment going on."
