" I want to thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. Today we’re going to learn about some makeup techniques, and this is my beautiful model Ana-Lucy Corona. Hi, we’re going to start on the eye process of her beautiful makeover. We already applied the foundation, we shaped her eyebrows and now we’re going to do a really pretty natural golden eye. Eyes are so much, and there are really not a lot of rules. I’m going to give you some tips to some basic outlines; but it’s wonderful you can play with color, you can mix eye shadows together, I’ve smashed lipsticks and made them eye shadows and blushes, so the beauty of makeup is the creativeness and the artisticness in it. The smaller the brush, the smaller the area you’re working on. For example if you want to fill in the eyebrow right here, then use a tiny brush. Because I want to fill in a tiny area, you don’t want to use a big brush, boom Groucho Mark’s eyebrows, you know we don’t want to do that, so the smaller the area the smaller size brush. So if I’m going to apply eyeliner then I want a skinny brush; if I’m adjusting the whole eye, then I can take a large brush. So kind of think about the area that you’re working on, and if you only want to fill in a little part of the brow then just get a tiny little brush and fill that in. And you can get brushes from art stores, you can them from department stores, a lot of these brushes they’re actually art paint brushes: as long as they’re sable, squirrel hair, camel hair, if they are a real hair they’ll last for years, and just take care of them and wash them and they’ll just last years; I think I’ve had some of these maybe 7 or 8 years. Before we started the makeover, if you remember I arched her eyebrows. Her eyebrows are shaped beautiful, but I want to do is strengthen them a little bit and fill them in with a little bit of color. So I’m going to take a small brush because I want to work in a small area, so I’m going to take an eyebrow color which is a brown and try to match the hair color as close as possible. So I’m going to take a brown color and I’m going to apply it where I think she needs a little strength and then you can see the difference between the two brows. You know I don’t do a lot, but this really helps the eye look just beautiful, the finished product. It’s just like having a beautiful painting without a frame, and what I’m doing is making the frame of her eye just beautiful so that way my painting will look even more beautiful. Alright so I’m just filling it in, let’s see and you can see the difference in the strength between this eyebrow and this eyebrow. Okay so I’m going to do the other side, so I’m just going to kind of fill them in a little bit okay and now we have a beautiful frame for her eyes."
