" Hi! My name is Yvette Parrish and thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. We are going to be talking about the different eyelash curlers. With the traditional eyelash curler, you can buy these pads that are underneath it; you can take these out. You see you can take out this pad and they actually are kind of like window wipers. You can get new ones of these little pads and you can get them at the beauty store. They come right out and you can throw them away and put in a new pad instantly. The electric or the battery operated heated one, you notice that it has a pad too. Some of them do not get removed; like this one does not come out. Some different brands you are able to remove it and put a fresh pad in. It is important that as long as you are curling your eyelashes while your eyelashes have no mascara on them, they will really stay clean. As soon as you put them on once and you have mascara on it, you heat it and smushed it, you made a big mess here, you are going to have to take it apart and clean it or its going to be useless and be hurting you later and taking out your lashes. So make sure you clean it after every use. If you see any mascara on it, clean it. If you don't see any mascara on it, you can probably clean it maybe once a month or so and you can spray it with a 70 percent alcohol, with an alcohol pad you can clean it or soap and water. "
