" Hi! My name is Yvette Parrish and thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. We are going to be talking about the different eyelash curlers. It is very important that you do clean your eyelash curler. For several reasons of course for hygienic reasons and second, if you get any mascara as I put some on here earlier so you can see for an example. Any time you have some mascara buildup there and you use it, it is going to stick. So make sure after every application you scrape that mascara off. You can use an old toothbrush or you can use one of your mascara wands that you are not using. You can clean it with 70 percent alcohol, soap and water; it just depends how much mascara you have as a buildup but I would recommend every time after you use it, really clean it. Especially with these old fashioned eyelash curlers because if you get a buildup, you are going to lose your lashes. So clean them after every use. Now the heated ones, as long as you don't have any mascara buildup, you don't have to clean these but once a month. But as soon as you start seeing mascara stuck in there, clean it immediately because now you've just ruined your little machine and it is going to ruin your lashes. "
