Hi! I’m Yvette Parish. Today, we’re going to be talking about high heels. How high should you wear them? When should you wear them? When is an appropriate occasion to wear them? I’m a former Mrs. Texas 2003 and Ms. Ethnic World 2005, so I’ve spent a lot of time in high heels. We’ve got few examples today to kind of show you. It’s kind of hard to sometimes decide what shoes that you need to wear. It’s kind of confusing when you go the department store; there’s just hundreds of shoes. So, really what I did, I brought a little bit of an assortment of kind of the main shoes that you would see out there. The pumps average in half an inch to 2 inches in height. These are the shoes that you would wear for a job interview or for interview competition. They’re also very comfortable. They come in leather, suede. These are a solid black pair. They have a little bit of detail on the side, a little bit of like a pretty bow. These are very comfortable shoes as well. If you notice the heel, the heel is not incredibly high. The higher the heel, the prettier your leg is going to be, but it is going to be a little bit more difficult to walk in. So, if you’re going to be doing a lot walking, a lot of dancing, a lot of moving, a shorter heel is going to be more comfortable and safer for your feet and for your ankles. These are the pumps, very pretty. Every woman should have a black pair of pumps in her wardrobe.
