"Hi! My name is Susan Jacobs of Personal Style Image Consulting and on behalf of Expert Village; I'm here to talk to you today about older, better, but not necessarily harder to dress. In this segment, we're going to talk about accessories and accessories in terms of metallics. As we age, unfortunately, light can be harsh on our face or it can be positive. When you opt for metallic accessories around the upper body, it reflects light to the face, it smoothes the lines. It can wake us up; it can make us look radiant. It can make you look very energetic when perhaps you're not. When I work with clients, I try to help them get rid of some of their more harsh, brassy, colorful items and show them how metallics work for a more flattering. My model here is wearing metallic earrings, a very trendy, funky, modern pendent that is metallic. Metallics in silvers, in coppers, in the antique gold are a very huge supply in the market place. At any price point, you can find them to suit your budget, and they're always a great option for you. Watches are also part of the accessory item. There are many watchbands now that have the leather strap and/or metallic banding. It's a personal choice. If you like shiny, then that's what you should choose. If you like them more matte finish, then that would work for you. Again, when choosing accessories, metallics or not, think about your height, your shape and always keep it within proportion."
