"OK, now what we want to do, is we're going to sift our henna. And, it's really important to sift your henna, even if it says, wherever you find it at, that it's been pre-sifted. And the reason for that is, is because if you're squeezing it out of a little tiny pinhole, you don't want anything in there, clogging it up. So, that's the purpose of the sifting. What I like to use to sift, this is a herbal tea strainer, and I've had it for years, it works great. Any kind of a thin, tightly woven mesh would work perfectly, for this kind of thing. And again we have these cake decorating bags. I like to line my cups with these, it's just easier for me to deal with. I use the same ones over and over again. You can see a little of that green dusty powder in there. Just kind of open it up, and spread it out like that, and you're going to want to do this one. And the reason we need two, is, or I use two, I mean, you're going to develop your own methods, this is just mine. Because I like to go back and forth with them, and strain it a couple of different times. So then I put my little strainer in cup number one here. See how nicely that fits? And, I dump my henna into the thing here, like this. And I like to use the wood end of the stick, to just kind of stir it around, like this. Kind of go back and forth with it. OK, as I've already mentioned, you want to do this a couple of times. So, that's why we have the two cups. So after you've cleaned out your strainer, emptied it in the trash, and the little debris particles that are left behind. You want to put it in your other cup, and go back into it this way. See how that works? And then, you'll strain this."
