"Hello I'm Tom Wright, from Gingerbread and Glass, on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, I'm going to talk to you about how you can expand your glass art experience. So what I made today, and it wasn't exactly the best pendant ever, on earth, but, it's just an idea to give you, to show you, all the varieties of things you can do. Now this one here uses cane and dichroic. Now I use alot of cane in alot of stuff in the other work that I do. This right here is made out of cane - cane and clear....looks pretty neat, I like that. This one is also just made out of just cane and clear. Now, beyond that, with the dichroic, there's also different techniques which you can use when the glass. Now, on this one right here, I'll show you, is you can see the stripes. They kind of move up and down a little bit - that's the "raking" technique. Now that can be used on any color or whatever, and give a different look to the glass. And one of the last ones I will show you here is this guy right here. Now this was made by just crushed up glass thrown in one of the tubes I showed you earlier and that can create a very different look. Now, there's definitely no one way to do any of these, and any combination of these will only greater your chances of creating better art. So take them, be creative, and mix and match them, and you'll come up with something great! "
