"Hello, I'm Tom Wright from Gingerbread Glass on behalf of Expert Village. I this segment, I'm going to talk to you about the torch that is used for blowing glass. Now this torch here is just a wee little baby torch, very, very small in the world of blowing glass but efficient enough to do what we're doing today. Now, this torch here , you see here, it has one nozzle on top, one nozzle on the right hand side. The reason we have to use oxygen and propane together is because propane by itself is not hot enough to work with the borosilicate glass. Now the top nozzle here is the propane, which runs a 4 to 6 pounds per square inch in this torch. While the nozzle on the side, which is the oxygen torch, runs from 12 to 15 pounds per square inch. The flame on this will allow you to work with small to medium objects with ease, but not much bigger than that and the objects that you are working should be kept down to a smaller size. "
